Nesbitt HazelmanMr. Nesbitt Hazelman is the Chief Executive Officer of the Fiji Commerce & Employers Federation, which is Fiji’s National Private Sector Organization.
He studied at Marist Brothers High School then joined the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation, where he held various roles until 2000. He was appointed Manager Human Resources at the Fiji Trades & Investment. Bureau, before joining the Fiji Development Bank as the General Manager Divisional Support Services until 2010, when he became CEO at Fiji Commerce & Employers Federation.
Mr. Hazelman is a Commissioner with the Public Service Commission and currently sits on various boards including; the Fiji Exports Council, Council member of Fiji National University, Chair of the National Productivity Training Centre’s Advisory Board, Chair of the Human Resources Council at Fiji National University, Housing Authority, Public Rental Board and Employment Relations Advisory Board, and a Board member for Fijian Holding Trustee Limited.
Mr. Hazelman has achieved numerous tertiary qualifications and they include a Bachelors Degree in Management & Sociology from University of the South Pacific and a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resources Management and Masters in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from Sydney University.
