Applications are invited for the PSC Pre-Service Scholarships tenable in 2010.
Applicants must note the following minimum requirements:

- Applicants must be Fiji Citizens.
- Applicants must be under 35 years of age or be 35 years of age by 1st January 2010;
- Students already on full scholarship and studying on Fiji Government awards, Student Loan Scheme, Fijian Affairs (except Foundation) and Multi Ethnic Affairs Scholarships will NOT be considered;
- Applications from employees in the private sector MUST include their employer’s recommendations;
- Civil Servants are NOT eligible to apply for this Scholarship.
- Applicants applying for scholarships should lodge separate applications for admission to the respective Tertiary Institutions of their choice of study in 2010.

- Students currently in the Foundation Year or Degree programmes with ‘B’ average must submit their Semester I & II results as soon as they are released. Applications will not be considered if semesters I & II results are not provided.
- Form VII with 2008 FSLC marks of 270 and above are eligible to apply.

Candidates are encouraged to access and submit electronic form from the website: www.egov.gov.fj. Students may visit Government Information Referral Center – GIRC (former Fiji Visitors Bureau Office, Suva ) to apply for scholarship or call 132 777 for assistance.

Application forms are also available from the USP Students’ Association Office ;UOF Administration Office; FIT Student Services Office; Office of the Commissioner Central, Northern and Western Divisions; Provincial Administrators and District Offices; Divisional Education Offices, Divisional Youth & Sports Offices and all Form VII Schools.

Closing Date
Completed application forms, with all required certified documentary evidence, must be submitted by Friday 11th September, 2009. INCOMPLETE & LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
