The Division integrates the policy functions of MID, ERD and HRMD to facilitate improvements in public service delivery through appropriate and timely organisational management policy development, compliance, monitoring and evaluation of policy implementation.
There are four Units under this Division headed by Team Leaders.
1. Management Improvement:This Unit develops policies and programs that would allow Ministries to deliver improved services such as Corporate Planning, Workforce Planning, Organisation restructures, classification and remuneration and management best practices.
2. Workforce Performance This Unit develops policies and programs that will improve workforce performance in terms of recruitment and selection, career development, working conditions, performance management and competency framework
3. Senior Executive Services This Unit focuses on post processing, SES development and performance monitoring towards creating visionary leadership.
4. Compliance, Monitoring and Evaluation This Unit will focus on compliance, Monitoring and Evaluation by Ministries and Departments on Commission policies using a combination of monitoring tools such as HR Audits, Inspection, Surveys and Reports.
It will also undertake evaluation of policies impacts and outcomes and targeted operations research and provide reports to the Commission on the State of Public Service Performance.
