The Secretariat provides support services to the following Independent Service Commissions:Public Service Commission, Disciplined Services Commission and the Constitutional Offices Commission.
The Public Service Commission meets twice a month during the year and plays a vital role in the monitoring of Ministries and Departments throughout the year. The Secretariat also ensures that the Disciplined Services Commission performs its function in making appointments and to remove or take disciplinary action against members of the Fiji Police Force or the Fiji Prisons Service.
