The Corporate Services Division (CSD) provides for
the consolidation of all the support service arms of the Commission. It includes
the PSC Corporate Management Unit, PSC Registry,
Accounts
Section and
Higher Salaries
Commission. It also houses the
Secretariat
to the Public Service Commission, Constitutional Offices Commission, the Disciplined
Services Commission and the Higher Salaries Commission. It also provides secretariat
support to the Public Service Appeal Board and the Higher Salaries Commission.
The Division’s focus in 2001 will be the improvement of organizational
processes within the Commission and between ministries and departments.
Registry is a nerve of an Organisation. All Confidential information are
stored in Registry whereabouts nobody else apart from the authorised officers
are allowed to get access to the relevant information. The running of an Organisation
will be very much depend on the efficiency of how you maintain your Registry.
The key factors in our Registry are the Files. In our Registry we store [Personal
Files, Subject Files & Confidential Files]. The flow of work within our
Department will depend on those respective files. The desk officers will not
be able to action a matter without existance information in the relevant files.
To conclude with the saying "That a river without a Bridge is like an
Organisation without a REGISTRY".
