Application for the Fiji Government In-Service Training sponsorship at the Uiversity of the South Pacific and the Fiji Institute of Technology for the year 2009 is now open.

With reference to PSC Circular No:38/2008 this scholarship is to provide training and career development opportunities as a means of building human resource capacity, human capital development and promoting productivity in the Public Service.

In the same Circular, agency Heads is reminded to ensure that the program of study selected should be aligned to the organization’s Human Resource training and Development Plan and the selection process embrace the Public Service Values and Government’s Equal Employment Opportunity Policy.

Training Institution Sponsorship

All applications together with supporting documents are to be sent under covering memorandum to the Permanent Secrtetary for the Public Service and must reach the Centre for Training and Development on or before 31st October 2008.
