   • Student Loan Scheme USP/UOF – 250/400
   • Student Loan Scheme – pass in FSLC 200/400


2. What programs can I apply for ?
   • Only the programs that are listed in the advertisement.


3. What is the age criteria for the Student Loan Scheme ?
   • SLS – 18-25years


4. What institutions can I apply to under the Student Loan Scheme ?
   • Student Loan Scheme – USP, FIT, FSM, UOF, FSN, CCTC (Corpus Christi Teachers College) ,FCA (Fiji College of Agriculture)


5. When I apply for a scholarship does it mean I get a place at the institution ?
• NO. Students need to apply separately to the institution to get placement and apply separately for the student loan scheme.


6. What is the scope of the loan under the Student Loan Scheme ?
   • $0-$6,000
   • $6,000 - $9,000
   • $9,000 - $12,000


7. How much of the loan do I repay ?
• The total loan – 100%.


8. What is the rate of loan repayment ?
• The rate is 20% of one’s annual gross wages/salary which one can pay either through manual payments or direct deductions.


9.  Do SLS students serve a bond ?
   • No. The only return government expects from providing financial assistance to the training is the repayment of the total loan.


10. What is covered under SLS assistance ?
    • Tuition
    • Living Allowance


11. Is accommodation provided by the Student Loan Scheme ?
    • No


12. Does the Student Loan Scheme pay for any outstanding fees incurred by the student?
• NO


13. Does the SLS pay for any repeated units?
    • NO
